Our beloved father passed away in his home on September 23, 2011.
Born February 15, 1941 in La Garita, Colorado, he has gone home to be with his beloved wife, Madeline Atencio.
Pat is survived by his children, Stephen Atencio, Lori White (David Ervin), Travis Atencio (Jessica), Joe Atencio (Janet), and Mathew Atencio; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Also survived by his siblings, Victor Atencio, Luis Atencio, Beatrice Atencio, and Alex Atencio. He was preceded in death by his wife, Madeline Atencio; parents Alfonao Atencio and Maria Atencio; and siblings, Fred Atencio, Orlando Atencio, and Cora Velasquez.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2011 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., with a rosary service from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 30, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. in Saint John the Baptist Church, 11800 South 300 East, Draper, where friends and family may visit from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m.
Procession will conclude at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
