Rites will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Leavitt Funeral home for Mrs. Anna Jane Archer, 85, Lynn St., who died Sunday evening in Camden-Clark Memorial hospital.
The Rev. Neal Wyndham will officiate with burial to be in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
Born in Jackson county, a daughter of the late Joseph and Arie Elizabeth Snodgrass Sommerville, she was a member of the First Christian Church, the Kings Daughters Class of that church and had been a resident of Parkersburg for the past 57 years.
Survivors include one son, Audra Archer, Parkersburg, one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Carson, Parkersburg; one sister, Mrs. Rae Hickman, Parkersburg and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dempsey Y. Archer, and by one daughter, Helen Ruth.
