Ethan A. Anderson, 72 years of age, of Meridian, Route 1, prominent farmer, died in Anderson's Infirmary at 4:45 pm Tuesday from injuries received when he was struck by an automobile on Highway 45 about five miles south of the city..... The deceased is survived by his loving widow Mrs. E.A. Anderson; three daughters, Madams F.D. Sollie, Topton, and Eddie F. Jones and Miss Carrie Anderson; son Clyde Anderson, Meridian, Route 1; 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.....Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 pm from the New Hope Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
