Alonzo Anderson, aged 75, one of the most progressive farmers in Lauderdale county, passed away Friday evening at a local hospital following an automobile accident.

He is survived by his widow Mrs. Mary Lee Anderson; eight daughters, Mesdames W.C. Vandiver and G.A. Valentine, city; J.T. Harwell, John Carpenter and John Long, Collinsville; D.C. White, Beaumont, Tex; R.W.Sumrall Jr, city; W.D. Carlton, Collinsville; sons, Johnnie, Maykin, C.H., K.A., W.W., and M.A. Anderson; one stepson, M.R. Sibley; sisters, Mrs. J.H. Taylor, city; Mrs. T.H. Luby, city; Mrs. J. Knight, Hattiesburg; and Mrs. C.A. Strange, city; brothers, E.A. Anderson and C.H. Anderson.
