Well known Catherine township farmer and former road supervisor, died this morning at 2 o'clock at the home of his son, Earl Anderson of Williamsburg, R.D. No. 1, death being attributed to grippe. He was a son of Henry and Jane Grubb Anderson and was born at Hesston, Huntingdon county, Oct. 2, 18871. He was united in marriage with Almyra H. Dean, who preceded him in death. Surviving are these children: Cloyd Anderson of Williamsburg, Mrs. Minnie Kimmler of Altoona and Earl Anderson; one brother and two sisters, Robert Anderson and Mrs. Ellie Rinkard, both of Hesston, and Mrs. Elizabeth Garner of Hesston, R. D., and nine grandchildren. Mr. Anderson was educated in the Huntingdon county schools, followed farming all his life and served as road supervisor in Catherine township for some years. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical and Reformed church in Williamsburg. Friends will be received at the Bechtel funeral home in Williamsburg after 7 o'clock Thursday evening.
