Dr. Virgil A. Amend Jr., age 80, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016 in Willard Walker Hospice Center in Fayetteville. Dr. Amend was born Sept. 14, 1935 in Wichita, Kan. to Dr. Virgil Anthony Amend Sr. and Dr. Dorothy Snyder Amend who preceded him in death as well as a brother, Donald and a sister, Ann. He was a retired Chiropractor.
