BALLINGER Debra Meryl Chance, 61, of Kerrville, Texas, and formerly of Ballinger, passed away Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at her residence in Kerrville. She was born Feb. 27, 1951, in Andrews, Texas, to Donald Cole and Dorothy Meryl (Brown) Alsobrook. She was a homemaker and had worked for a time as a nurses' aide. She also worked for several years at the water store in Ballinger. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Jimmy Chance in 1981; and brother Donnie Alsobrook. Debbie is survived by her daughter, Nicole Vestal-Baumann and husband Kyle Baumann of Kerrville; and grandchildren Tod Cole Baumann, Jordan Baumann, Jayden Baumann and Daniel Baumann. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at Avenue B Church of Christ in Ballinger. Kerry Mark Jones will be officiating. There will be a lunch provided for the family at noon before the service. The family asks for you to make donations to the American Cancer Society in Debra's name.
