EDMONDS, WASHINGTON - Larry Lee Allen, 59 passed away peacefully on May 27, 2005 from complications with cancer. He was born in Brigham City, Utah to Alvin LeeRue Allen and Polly Gurney. He was a graduate from Weber State College, Ogden, Utah in accounting. He worked in the accounting field for the dairy industry for 35 years, including Carnation, Foremost and Darigold. He served a two and a half year Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Berlin, Germany.
Larry met his eternal sweetheart, Phyllis Black of Clearfield, Utah while attending Weber State College. They were married on July 3, 1968 in the LDS Logan Temple. They were blessed with five beautiful children and 19 grandchildren. Larry and Phyllis were called to serve a mission together in the Washington Everett Mission for 14 months. He was faithful to the end.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis; daughter Charlynn (Paul) Mugerian, daughter Melinda (Jason) Kiel, son Chad (Katie) Allen, daughter Danielle (Allen) Martineau, and son Bryan (Jessica) Allen; 19 grandchildren; his mother, Polly Allen, and siblings Fred (Daleine) Allen, Brigham City, UT; Douglas (Yolanda) Allen, Sandy, UT; Marcia (Don) Thompson, Hyde Park, UT; Donna (Darell) Bagley, Grand Prairie, Texas.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 4, 2005 at the Brigham City North Stake Center, 320 East 600 North, Brigham City. Interment will be in Brigham City Cemetery.
