Funeral Arrangements Are Not Complete
Mrs. Ida A. Allen, 82, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lloyd E. Strong, 1143 E. State street, about 1 p.m. Wednesday, following a lingering illness. She had been a resident of Mason City for the past 29 years.
Mrs. Allen was born in Wisconsin, Jan. 10, 1865. Surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs. Lloyd Strong, Mason City, and Mrs. P. J. O’Hern, Seattle, Wash., and 3 sons, Bert Allen, Mason City, Edgar Allen, Waukeegan, Ill., and Walter Allen, Denver, Colo., and 4 grandchildren 5 great grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Clara Henley, Denver, Colo. She was preceded in death by her husband, 2 sons and a daughter.
She was a member of the First Baptist church. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The Patterson funeral home in charge.

Mrs. Ida Allen Rites Conducted; Interment at Elmwood Cemetery
Funeral services for Mrs. Ida A. Allen, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Strong, Wednesday, were held at the Patterson funeral home Saturday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Paul H. Rumford, pastor of the First Baptist church officiating.
Seymour Angell san “In the Garden” and “Beautiful Isle of Somewhere.” Mrs. Earl Ethlers accompanied at the organ.
Mrs. Theodore Smith and Mrs. Paul Fransen were in charge of flowers.
Two sons and a daughter, who recently visited Mrs. Allen during her illness. Were unable to attend the services.
Pallbearers were Carl, Harvey, Leonard and Raymond Boyd. Burial was at Elmwood cemetery. The Patterson funeral home in charge.
