NEW BALTIMORE - Carrie Alexy, 81, of New Baltimore, died Saturday at Mount Clemens General Hospital. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in New Haven, charter member of the Lutheran Ladies Auxiliary No. Nine of New Haven, and a member of the Ladies Aid Society.
Mrs. Alexy is survived by her husband, William; daughters, Mrs. George (*Ruth Rafferty of Alpena, Mrs. Philip (Carolyn) Rogers of Washington, and Mrs. Lawrence (Lois) Schultz of Richmond; sons, William of New Baltimore, and Russell of Mount Clemens; 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Dull of Ohio.
A funeral service will be held at 1pm Wednesday at St. John Lutheran Church where she will lie in state from noon until time of service. Friends may call at the Duncan Funeral Home, 58611 Main Street, New Haven, until 11pm Tuesday. The Rev. Vernon Schwartz will officiate. Burial will be in Clinton Grove Cemetery, Mount Clemens. Visitation after 4pm today.
