Paul was born in York County January 26, 1922, son of the late Alvin and Minnie (Buehler) Aldinger.
Mr. Aldinger was a farmer. He was a member of the St. Jacob's Evangelical Lutheran Church, York New Salem.
Survivors include four children, Nancy L. Lint and her husband, Kenneth of Seven Valleys, Paul E. Aldinger, Jr. and his wife, Winafred of Seven Valleys, Darlene M. Rutters and her husband, Jeffrey of Seven Valleys, and Dean R. Aldinger and his wife, Joan of Seven Valleys; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth Messersmith; six sisters, Helen Aldinger, Esther Aldinger, Minnie Kornbau, Florence Flandermyer, Susan Walters, and Pauline Hovis; and four brothers, Victor Aldinger, Sr., Harry Aldinger, Woodrow Aldinger, and William Aldinger, Sr.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, September 24, 2015, at St. Jacobs Evangelical Lutheran Church, 99 E. George St., York New Salem, PA 17371. Viewings will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home, Inc., 2290 School St., York (Shiloh), and one hour prior to the funeral service on Thursday at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. Officiating will be his pastor, the Rev. Lisa Hair. Burial will be in St. Jacobs Union Cemetery, York New Salem.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to St. Jacobs Evangelical Lutheran Church, 99 E. George St., York New Salem, PA 17371. Arrangements were entrusted to the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home, Inc., 2290 School St., York (Shiloh).
