Daughter of Elbert Lawton Lewis and Julia Ardelia DeLoach, both of whom are buried here in Section C.

Annie Mae married William Edmund Akins around 1918. William was a son of Eli Frank Akins and Joyce Elizabeth Sikes. Eli was Joyce's second husband. Eli had another wife, Emily Barrow, not sure but I believe she was his second wife.

I don't have much on their children, but what I have found so far is listed below:

I believe they had an infant who was b. & d. in 1918.

Elton Akins, b. abt. 1922, Tattnall Co., GA
Readie or Ready Akins, b. abt. 1924

They may have had one other child, but I do not have the name, b. abt. 1929.

Children of William Edmund Akins: Eva, Elton Leamon 21 Feb 1922, William Reedy 12 May 1924, Tim Lawton 12 May 1929, Harry Edwin 08 Jan 1936. Spouse Charlotte Oliver.
