Shirley Mae Adkins, age 78, of Wooster, OH, formerly of Ironton, OH, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016 at the LifeCare Hospice in Wooster, OH. The Pedro, OH native was born August 24, 1938, a daughter of the late James E. and Martha J. Kelly Noel.
She was also preceded in death by
her husband Leo Adkins, who passed away December 7, 2013;
three brothers, John Noel, Bob Noel and Roy Noel;
four sisters, Eloise Massie, Betty Cantrell, Juanita Noel and Mary Christian.
She attended Rock Hill High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Church of God in Wooster, OH and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by
a daughter, Carolyn (Jeff) Warner of Wooster, OH;
two grandsons, Joey Henley of Orrville, OH and Ryan Warner of Wooster, OH;
and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South Seventh Street, Ironton, OH with Reverend James Cremeans officiating. Burial in Slabfork Cemetery.
