Bobby graduated from Sunset High Scool in 1941, attended Texas A & M before entering the service. He was killed in an aviation accident near Jacksonville, FL just months after his commission as 2nd Lt.

Bobby John Aderhold was born on February 21, 1924, the son of Mr. John C. Aderhold, 2806 Burlington Avenue, Dallas, Texas. Bobby attended Texas A & M college and volunteered for service in the United States Marine Corps. He attend flight school at the Corpus Christi Naval Air Station in Texas. After winning his wings he served from October 23, 1942 until his death on April 22, 1944 as an instructor for student pilots. Lieutenant Aderhold was killed in an aviation accident near Jacksonville, Florida. (Provided by D.L. Murphy)
