Funeral services for Marjorie B. Adee, 92, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, at the Federated Church in Sycamore.
Born July 15, 1910, in DeKalb County, Ill., she died Saturday, May 31, 2003, at DeKalb Area Retirement Center in DeKalb.
Mrs. Adee was a former school administrator in Glenbard School District. She spent 37 years in education, beginning teaching in country schools in DeKalb County. She served 15 years as DeKalb County superintendent of schools before coming to Glenbard School District as curriculum supervisor, then administrator in Schaumburg and Lombard (at Green Valley and Glen Park Schools), before retiring in 1975 and returning to Sycamore.
Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Kathryn (William) Lenschow of Sycamore; four granddaughters; five stepgrandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
