Charles Edwin Adams was born July 16, 1921 to C.H. Adams and Ora Mae (Roberts) Adams. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, sister Ella Mae, his wife Dara of 35 years, who he missed so very much, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and other relatives.
Charles went to schools in Texas and Oklahoma. He entered the military in 1942. He spent 11 years taking part in several invasions including reclaiming the beaches of Normandy. God spared his life several times during his tour of duty serving his country. He was awarded the Cold War Service Medal Certificate for service during the Cold war period Sept. 2, 1945 to Dec. 26, 1991.
He worked a short time for an aircraft company in San Diego, CA, where he met Dara. He was in real estate and property management in California for many years. Charles and Dara decided to leave California and retired to a farm in Missouri.
He is survived by several brothers and sisters; Ray Adams and wife Beverly, Gene Fogle and wife Sue, Joan Powell and husband Dave, Mary Housner and husband Bud, Ramona Adams, and Dale Adams and Donna; a large number of nieces, nephews, friends including Jr. and Cornelia Ferguson, Nancy and Don Foster.
He was a member of the Ozark Baptist Church.
