George L. Adams, 66, died Friday at his home, 2108 Brookwood street. He was a retired machinist of the Pennsylvania Railroad. He belonged to the Epworth Methodist Episcopal Church and the P. O. S. of A. of Newport.
Funeral services will be held this evening at 7.39 o'clock at his home, the Rev. G. W. Wormer, officiating. Further services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Newport Methodist Episcopal Church. Burial will be in the Newport Cemetery.
Mr. Adams is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Charles Motter and Miss Bertha Adams, of this city; Mrs. Daniel Sanders and Miss Cora Adams, of Philadelphia, and Mrs. Leroy Shover, of Akron, Ohio; a son, Charles F. Adams, of Newport, and a brother, Alexander Adams, of La Grade, Oregon.
