Miss Bertha G. Adams, 63, of Carlisle R. D. 2, died Monday, July 6, in a Harrisburg hospital. She was a former resident of Newport and was a registered nurse at the Harrisburg Polyclinic Hospital for 20 years.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Flora Shover, Akron, Ohio, and Mrs. Daniel Sanders, Philadelphia, and an uncle, Issac W. Parsons, Carlisle, R. D. 2.
Funeral services were held Thursday, July 9, from the funeral home on S. Second street, Newport. The Rev. Maurice Smith, Reformed Church minister of York, officiated, and burial was in the Newport Cemetery.
