The Huntsville Times, Huntsville, Alabama Sunday, June 22, 1935. Ernest Acuff, 30-year-old textile employee, died after a long illness at his home on Rison Avenue in Dallas at 1 o’clock yesterday afternoon. Funeral services will be conducted by Homer P. Reeves at the Dallas Church of Christ at 4 o’clock this afternoon. Interment will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery with Womack in charge. James Ethridge, Ode Frazier, William Ethridge, C. B. Englebert, W. W. Smith and C. E. Barnes will serve as pallbearers. Mr. Acuff is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mildred; parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Acuff, Huntsville; four sisters, Mrs. Sarah Thomas, Mrs. Emma Sanders, Mrs. Dambrel, all of Huntsville, and Mrs. Will Luna, Taft, Tenn.
