Mrs. W. L. Branch died at her home in Dexter, NM last Thurs Oct 18. There were with her at the time of her death besides her family, her sisters, Mrs. W. P. Evans and Mrs. S.M.Speer of this place. The remains arrived in Strong City Saturday afternoon and from there was taken to the Miller Cemetery on South Fork for burial. The funeral had previously been held at the Branch home in Dexter. Mr and Mrs. Branch formerly lived in Chase County. They moved to Oklahoma about 15 years ago and later to Dexter, New Mexico.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Branch leaves TWO (should be three) children, also two sisters Mrs. Evans and Mrs Speer of this place. The many friends of the bereaved husband, children and sisters extend to them their heartfelt sympathy.
Edna's sister Ruth Jones married S. M. SPEER, and her sister Lydia Ellen married William Putnam EVANS.
