Although her last sickness was accompanied by severe pain, she bowed in submission to the will of Him whom she loved and served and when the end came she fell asleep without a struggle to awaken in a brighter home beyond the grave. Her kind benevolent sprit was shown in her love for children and young people among whom she had hosts of friends, who will sadly miss her welcoming smile when they again visit the home made so lonely by her absence.
The remains were followed to their last resting place by a large assemblage of friends and sympathizing acquaintances. The casket was carried by Messrs. Jno. Edward and Peter Pacquette, James Black, Sam Derocher, and Leo Weiskercher and tenderly laid to rest. She sleeps the sleep of those who in the morning of the awakening will be found nearest the eternal throne. In death her virtues will not be forgotten.
