Daughter of Harry and Barbara Lester Verhey.
Formerly married to Robert Applegate.
Survivors include her mother; daughter Angel (Brandon) Fulk; son Thomas M. (Shelly) Applegate; sister Marlena Verhey; brothers Marvin, Mike (Cindy) and Marlin (Denise) Verhey; 5 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by by her father, brother Melvin Verhey and stepdaughter Patricia Applegate.

1967 graduate of Coal Creek Central High School.
she was a retired Physical Therapist Assistant at St. Elizabeth Hospital (Franciscan Alliance). She had previously been employed at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Heritage Healthcare and Ag. Alumni Seeds.

She was an active member of Christ church in Lafayette, where she was involved with the Lady's Orgainization.

Service 2pm Sunday, November 23 at Family & Friends Funeral Home of Wingate with Pastors Chris Black and Tom Branham officiating. Visitation 5-8pm Saturday.

Memorial donations to American Cancer Society.
