Jean Marie Alexander, age 77 of Chesterton, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at her home. She was born on August 20, 1937 in Porter, IN to Harry and Margaret Ream Boi, both of whom preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children: Kim Staff of Chesterton, Pam (Tina) Staff of Hobart, Brenda Staff of Chesterton, Debbie Staff of Chesterton, John (Dawn) Staff of Chesterton, Mike (Kerry Lively) Staff, as well as 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and her sister, Linda (Carl) Burton of Chesterton.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Alexander, daughter Wendy Jackson, grandson Rexy Jackson, her sister, Maggie Wiseman and brother-in-law Dennis Wiseman.

She loved to color with markers, roller skate and loved all of her grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 12 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 106 E 1100 N, Chesterton, IN with Pastor Erich Fickel officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.
