Son of Whiteman and Viola Harrelson Drew, husband of Gladys Causey.
MARION - Whiteman Drew Jr., 75, died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 1997, at the War Veterans Nursing Home of Milledgeville, Ga., after an illness. He was born April 8, 1921, in Marion County, a son of the late Whiteman and Viola Harrelson Drew. Mr. Drew was a retired electrician and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include a son, Larry Drew of Florence; two daughters, Lib Graham of Marion and Brenda Turbeville of Florence; a sister, Virginia Porter of Sumter; and 10 grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Smith-Collins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Tabernacle Cemetery.
