Mrs. Elizabeth Allender

Mrs. Elizabeth Allender, age 82 years, died at the home of a son, Cecil Allender, on Greasy Creek at 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Mrs. Allender was a native of Brown county, having been born on a farm north of Helmsburg. Mrs. Allender with her husband, Thomas, have been living in Georgetown but had gone to the home of a son, Cecil, for a visit when Mrs. Allender became ill.

She is survived by four sons, Cecil of Greasy Creek, Omer of Nashville, and Bert and Dan of Helmsburg, three daughters, Mrs. Nettie Allison of Columbus, Mrs. Hazel Voland of Nashville and Mrs. Cloe Ford of Franklin. Two children died in infancy.

Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at 1:00 p.m. in Georgetown with Rev. Cecil Deckard in charge. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery.
