Jamie J. Andrews, 82, of Cecil died Tuesday, Jan. 17, at St. Edward's Hospital in Fort Smith.
A retired farmer, he was a member of the Cecil United Methodist Church, a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of National Lodge No. 411 of Ratcliff.
He was born Dec. 23, 1901, in Vandalia, Ill., the son of James M. and Alice Exeman Andrews.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ford Andrews; one daughter, Ila Harwood of Hot Springs; two sons, Kendrick Andrews of Houston and George Ford Andrews of Tulsa; three sisters, Mrs. Ponca Taylor and Mrs. Nagle DeShan, both of Cecil, and Mrs. Ota Belle Ezell of Ozark; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Friday at Cecil United Methodist Church, with Rev. Chris Cooper officiating. Burial was in Cecil cemetery.
