CHARLES BLACK, 37, CAMERON POLICE CHIEF
died Saturday, Jan. 7, 1995. Born in Rock Hill, he was a son of Charles Albert Black and Kaye Black Walter. A graduate of Orangeburg Calhoun Technical College and the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy, he retired as chief of police with the city of Cameron. He was a former police officer and criminal investigator with the city of Orangeburg Police Department and a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve and Resurrection Lutheran Church, where he was a youth adviser. Surviving are his wife, Joanne Berry Black with burial in St. Matthews Lutheran Church cemetery of Creston
