Inscription

SACRED
to the memory of
PHILIP PENDLETON BARBOUR JR
The lovely and interesting son of
Tho & S.C. BARBOUR
Apr. 06 1837
Age 3 years 7 months
And 15 days
Deaths gloomy portals he has crossed
And safely reach'd the peaceful home
No more upon the ocean tossed
The heavens gain'd the crown secure
For tis of such that Jesus said
Suffer them to come to me
And though to his fond parents dead
Saviour, he lives with thee
