Mrs. Sudie Collins Johnson, 61, died at 12:50 am Fri., 8 Mar [1963] at the Campbellsville Hospital. She was a member of the Hogards Chapel Methodist Church. Suriving are her husband, Roscoe Johnson; 4 daughters, Mrs. Thelma Stabell, Carfu, N.Y., Mrs. Dessie Saltsman, Japan; Mrs. Marie Edwards, Danville, Mrs. June Morgan, Jeffersonville, Ind; 2 sons, Claude Johnson, Louisville, and Ewell Johnson, Campbellsville; 2 sisters, Mrs. Della Baker and Mrs. Verna Collins, both of Pineville; a brother, Sidney Collins, Ohio, and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sun at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with the Rev. Bryant McGuffey officiating. Burial was in Hogards Chapel Cem. Pallbearers were Frank Jones, Haskell Livesay, Jim Wilson, Lonnie Williams, Arvin Akins, and Grover Smith.
