GEORGE DULCICH DIES FROM SELF-INFLICTED WOUNDS

George Dulcich, 24, son of Mrs. Angie Dulcich of Hunter's Valley, Mariposa county, died instantly from the effects of a self-inflicted gunshot wound on the morning of July 3rd.

The young man had been in poor health for several months since a serious attack of influenza. He had been in Stockton with his mother up until a few days before his death, receiving medical attention but had returned home to be with the other members of his family.

George Dulcich was born in Bear Valley, this county. He grew to manhood here and was a young man of exceptionally fine habits and character and was a favorite with all. He was sober and industrious and his sudden death has caused a cloud of deep sorrow over the entire community.

Deceased is survived by his mother, a sister, Mrs. Madeline Collins of Yosemite; two brothers, James of Hunter's Valley and Leonard of Stockton; also his uncle, Daniel Castagnetto of Hunter's Valley and many other near relatives.

The funeral which was held at Bear Valley, Monday afternoon was under the auspices of the I. O. O. F. Lodge of Hornitos of which the deceased was a member. Interment being made in the Bear Valley cemetery.

The funeral was largely attended by relatives and friends of the family.
