Chalres G Bacon Dies in Martinez
Funeral Today
Sonora Office Stockton Record Jan 21 - Charles G Bacon, well known former resident of this city, died of pneumonia Saturday in Martinez where, with his family, he had been living for several years.
Deceased was a son of the late P R Bacon, a pioneer merchant of Sonora, and at one time conducted an abstract office in this city. A widow, who was formerly Miss Irene Hall of this place, and a young son survive him.
The body arrived in Sonora last evening and was taken charge of by Undertaker C H Burden. The funeral was held this afternoon from the Hall residence on Bradford Avenue and under the auspices of Sonora Lodge No 10, IOOF of which the deceased was a member. Internment was made in Odd Fellows Cemetery in this city.
