Mildred L. Hanson, 86, of Bagley, died Saturday, December 8, 2001, at Greensview Health Care Center, Bagley.

Mildred was born August 2, 1915, on the family farmin Holst Township, Clearwater County, the daughter of Arnold F. and Clara ( Anderson ) Hanson. Mildred lived on the family farm until the 1980's when she moved into Bagley. Mildred attended the Lutheran Bible Institute in Minneapolis and taught Bivle School at area churches. She attended the Emmanuel Lutheran Church where she sang and played the piano.

She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Bagley and also attended Grace Free Lutheran Church.

Mildred loved to cook, bake and gather recipes. She also enjoyed flower gardening. Since June of this year she resided at Greensview Health Care Center.

Survivors include two brothers, Alton Hanson, of Eden Praire, Minn., and Harley Strom, of Casper, Wyoming.

She is preceded in death by two brothers, Arvin and Clarence Hanson.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 12, at 1 p.m. at Grace Free Lutheran Church, Bagley with Pastor Lyle Twite officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.

Internment will be at Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery, rural Clearbrook. Arrangements are with the Cease Family Funeral Home, Bagley.
