Emil William Blum, age 80, Wittenberg, died Sunday, March 9, 1986 at Langlade Memorial Hospital, Antigo.

He was born July 7, 1905 in Marshfield, WI the son of the late Edward and Martha (Lemke) Blum.

On July 20, 1935Emil was united in marriage to Iva Mehlberg in Caroline,WI. She survives.

In addition to his wife,survivors include onedaughter, Donna (Marlin) Block, Wittenberg;two sons, Duaine, Wittenberg and Dale, Tigerton;one brother, David, Clintonville;one step-brother, Fred Thies, Clintonville;three sisters, Adeline Vanderwalker, Clintonville, Bertha Graf and Delores Schwartz, both ofMilwaukee;six grandchildren andseven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death byfour brothers, including, Alvin Blumandtwo sisters.

Funeral services were held March 11, 1986 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Wittenberg. The Rev. John Ehlke officiated. Interment was inthe parish cemetery.
