Died - David Erastus Bird, 81, Sat. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Leroy T. Bird; daughters, Mrs. Jones Allen, Mrs. W. H. Smith, Mrs. Roy Smith, Mrs. Lyle Joyner; sisters, Mrs. J. B. Lanier, Mrs. J. J. Groover; brothers, H. G., W. S. and Charlie Bird. Burial at Upper Lotts Creek.
