An old and respected citizen of this county, died Saturday, January 16th, at his home two miles north of Fulton, of general debility, aged about 80 years. The remains were buried at Rock Springs graveyard on Sunday. It is said of this man by those who knew him best that he was honest, upright and square in all of his dealings with his fellow men,and he enjoyed the love and confidence of the entire community in which he lived. No man called him enemy. He was a member of the Primitive Baptist denomination, and was one of the founders of the church at Rock Springs.
