Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, at Stony Point Christian Church, 149 S. 78th St. Kansas City, KS, where a visitation will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the Church. Burial will follow in Stony Point Cemetery.

Alva was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy, in 2001. He is survived by 2 sons, Tom and wife Marla, Chicago, IL, and Jim and wife VaDonna, Lenexa, KS, 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
