Voyle D. Amon, 67, of Frenchville RD1, died at 12:05 a.m. Sunday, July 31 at Clearfield Hospital
Born at Eden July 21, 1910, he was the son of Milton and Elva (Krise) Amon.
He was a retired foreman at Shawville Coal Co. and was a member of the Congress Hill United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, the former Pauline Smith; two children: William Amon of Frenchville and Carolyn Amon of Camp Hill; five grandchildren; two sisters: Mrs. Clark Condon and Mrs. Willis Neff, both of LeContes Mills; and two brothers: Glen and Harry Amon, both of LeContes Mills.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother.
Friends will be received today from 4-9 p.m. and until 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Fred B. Leavy Funeral Home, Inc., P. Joseph Valigorsky, II, supervisor.
The funeral service will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, Aug. 2 at 2 p.m., with The Rev. Ralph Young officiating. Interment will follow at Eden Cemetery.
