Mrs. Clara Keister of Nelson, passed away at her home in Nelson at 5 a.m. Sunday. The funeral services will be held in Preston funeral home on Tuesday and interment will be in the Nelson cemetery.
Mrs. Keister was born in Posen, Germany, Feb. 5, 1875, and came with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. August Schoen to United States in her girlhood. They resided about 20 years in Chicago, during which period she was united in marriage to Fred Black. They took up their residence in Nelson, where Mr. Black passed away in 1912. In 1915 she was united in marriage to Fred Keister, who preceded her in death about eight years ago.
Three sons, one daughter, one sister and one brother survive.
