Marion “Joyce” Beauchesne, 75, of Piscassic Road, died October 29, 2011 at the Exeter Hospital.

Born March 9, 1936 in Pittsfield, NH, she was the daughter of Fred S. and Marion A. (Clark) Dow. She had resided in Newfields since 1947 and was a graduate of Exeter High School.

“Joyce” worked at Sam Smith Shoe in Newmarket and Epping National Shoe for many years. She later worked at Great Bay Athletic Club.

“Joyce” loved to cook, sew, and spend time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Seabrook Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Raymond G. Beauchesne in 2000, her step-father George Martin, and her brother, Fred S. Dow.

“Joyce” is survived by 2 sons, Albert Beauchesne of Newfields and Dale Beauchesne of Casco, ME; 3 grandsons, Justin, Christopher and Jacob Beauchesne and his daughter Riley Beauchesne; a sister, Shirley LeBeau of Newfields; brothers, Edgar Dow and wife Hope of Newfields, NH, George Martin and wife Lorraine of Freedom, NH; a sister-in-law, Virginia Dow of Newfields; and thought of as her own grandchildren, Thomas and Billie Jo Riedel and great grandchildren, Thomas and Katelynn Riedel.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 2nd, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Kent & Pelczar Funeral Home, 77 Exeter Street, Newmarket.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Seabrook Church of Christ, Lafayette Road, Seabrook, with Bruce Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Newmarket.
