Born Sept. 14, 1929, in Newmarket, he was the son of Albert and Leda (Rousseau) Beauchesne. Raised in Newmarket, he had lived in Newfields for 37 years.
During the Korean Conflict, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He operated a trucking business in the Seacoast area for many years. He also worked at the Seabrook Power Plant and was last employed at the Kingston-Warren Corp. in Newfields.
He was a member of the Seabrook Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Marion "Joyce" (Dow) Beauchesne, of Newfields; two sons, Albert Beauchesne, of Newfields, and Dale Beauchesne, of Casco, Maine; three grandchildren; one brother, Arthur Beauchesne, of Rochester; two sisters, Florence Beaulieu and Mrs. Michael (Doris) Paradise, both of Newmarket; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Albert Beauchesne.
Visiting hours will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday at the Kent & Pelczar Funeral Home, 77 Exeter St., Newmarket. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday from the Seabrook Church of Christ, Lafayette Road, with Preacher Bruce Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Newmarket.
