Lucille Norma Bartram, age 74, passed away at the University of Minnesota Hospital after complications of surgery, surrounded by her family on Monday, September 21st, 2015.

Lucille was born March 12th 1941 in the town of Arnegard to Russell and Anna (Iken) Patterson. The Patterson family moved to their farm in 1948. Lucille and her siblings attended Patent Gate and Bull Flat School through the eighth grade. Lucille then attended one year of high school at Arnegard and three years at Watford City graduating in 1959. While attending high school she worked for room and board.

On December 16th 1959 Lucille married Leo Papineau. They lived on a farm in the Louis and Clark Irrigation Project. They moved to Oregon for a short time eventually moving back to Williston which they made their home.

Lucille married Hubert Bartram in 1968 in Williston. She worked at Mc Donald’s, the Hardy’s Salt Plant, a local bakery, Service Drug and Jerry’s Fireside. Her hobbies included ceramics, woodworking, arts and crafts, gardening, playing cards and crocheting.

She is survived by her husband, Hubert Bartram; and her six children, Darryl Papineau, Dean Papineau, Kevin Papineau, Toni (Papineau) Bedard, Keith Papineau and Tim and Ursula Bartram. She’s also survived by three siblings, Clara Papineau, Marcella Barbie and David Patterson. Lucile had eight grandchildren, Ashley Bedard, Amy Bedard, Jordan Lundeen, Dana Papineau, DeAnn Papineau, Malia Papineau, Rachel Papineau and Lucca Bartram.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; and grandson, Kyle Bedard.
