Blue Hill resident Emma L. (Stroh) Baker, 81, died Monday, Oct. 2, 1995, at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings.

Services are 2 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Hill with the Rev. Robert Seible officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery north of Blue Hill. Merten-Butler Mortuary of Blue Hill is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Baker was born June 22, 1914, to Andrew and Hannah (Harrifeld) Stroh on a farm near Rosemont. They moved to Blue Hill in 1930. On Nov. 10, 1934, she married Merten F. Baker in Blue Hill. He died Feb. 1, 1977. She was a receptionist at the Blue Hill Vet Clinic for several years.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and taught Sunday school.
Survivors are one daughter, Virginia Potts of Lincoln; one sister, Esther Huse of Blue Hill; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by a son and four brothers.
Memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church.
