PHILIPSBURG - Paul Ness of South Philipsburg died at the Centre County Hospital at Bellefonte at 8:40 o'clock last night. He was 84.
Born in Germany October 9, 1866, he came to this country 58 years ago and had lived in South Philipsburg the entire time. He is the final member of his immediate family and was a member of the Philipsburg Church of Christ.
His wife preceded him in death in March 1940. Surviving him is one daughter, Mrs. Harry Jones of Philipsburg.
Funeral services will be held from the Beezer Funeral Home here Thursday at 2 p.m. in charge of Rev. Lloyd Dunn. Interment will be in the Philipsburg Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday until time of services.
