Gary Esau went to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, September 8th, 2012 at His home surrounded by his family. The son of Gerhard and Bernice Esau was born on November 20, 1930 in Omaha, Nebraska. Gary married Joy Curtis in Tulsa, Ok on July 27, 1951. Gary spent his life as a printer for various major printing companies in the Tulsa area. Gary was a member of Discovery Bible Fellowship in Collinsville, Oklahoma and served as a Deacon.
Gary is survived by Joy Esau, his wife of 61 years; sons, Dan and wife Patti of Harrison, AR; Mike and wife Vickie of Claremore, OK; Greg and wife Sandie of Tulsa, OK, and Jeff and wife Deidra of Owasso, OK; grandchildren, Lindsay Chism and husband Brad and Jon Esau of Harrison, AR, Chris Esau and wife Aimee of Broken Arrow, OK, Eric Esau of Oklahoma City, OK, Adam Esau and wife Lauren of Broken Arrow, OK, Stephen Esau of Inola, OK, Kaitlyn and Megan Esau of Tulsa, OK, Joshua Esau of Stillwater, OK, Alex and Helen Payne of Owasso, OK; great-grandchildren, Addison and Wyatt Chism of Harrison, AR, Savannah Esau of Tulsa, OK; 5 brothers and two sisters. Gary was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Stephen Esau.
Visitation will be on September 12, 2012 from 1PM to 7 PM, family will be present between 4 PM and 7 PM, at Add'Vantage Funeral Service, 9761 E 31st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Memorial Service will be Thursday September 13th at 10:00 a.m. at Discovery Bible Fellowship in Collinsville, Oklahoma.
