Funeral services were 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 22, at the J. J. Martin Funeral Home in Emmetsburg, with Rev. F. C. Pruel and Rev. A. F. Schuldt officiating. Pallbearers were Carl Kern, Jake Zweifel, George Menke, William Brass, Earl Moore and Roy Atkinson. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Emmetsburg, Iowa.
Anna Marie Miller was born July 9, 1881, in Grundy Center, the daughter of Herman and Roelfke (Bassil) Miller. She received her education in the Grundy Center schools. She married Heinrich Wilhelm Matthaus Schneider on August 20, 1901, in Emmetsburg. She and Henry farmed in Palo Alto County, until they retired and moved to Fenton.
Surviving are her husband, Henry; three daughters, Caroline (Hugh) Carney Sr., of Rodman, Mabel (Everett) Hartmann of Fenton and Eunice Schneider of Emmetsburg; three sons, Herman (Esther) Schneider of Cylinder, Henry (Elizabeth) Schneider of Algona and Ralph (Caroline) Schneider of Fenton; eight grandchildren; five sisters, Minnie (John) Wiener, Angie (Matthew) Gappa and Sarah (John) Gappa, all of Emmetsburg, Lena (August) Anderson of Spencer and Mina (Matthew) Conway of Spirit Lake; and three brothers, Rudolph (Elise) Miller, of Emmetsburg and Herman (Lulu) Miller and Henry (Louise) Miller, both of Hartley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Anna Schneider, one son, Fred Schneider, one grandchild in infancy and one brother, Ole Miller.
