Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at McEwen Funeral Home Charlotte chapel. Mr. Brown a Catawba native, had been a Parks Distribution Co. Salesman. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and a World War II Army veteran. Survivors are his wife, Doris, son Herman Brown of Catawba Co.; daughter, Mrs. Sandra Jenning; brothers, James Brown of Sherrils Ford, Wendell Brown; sister Mrs. Revonda Felts of Catawba Co.; step-brother Donald Porter; step-sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Black of Sherrills Ford, Mrs. Linda Luther of Mooresville; four grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Charlotte, 1420 E. 7th St. Charlotte.
