D.C. WAUGH IS ILLNESS VICTIM -

David C. Waugh, 77, died at 1:45 p.m. Monday at his home 416 Fourth Avenue, west, and funeral rites were conducted at 2 o'clock this afternoon at Central Methodist Church by Rev. R.L. Archibald, the pastor, who was assisted by Rev. O.B. Sansbury, pastor of the Memorial Drive Methodist Church, Brown directed burial in City Cemetery.

Mr. Waugh is survived by his widow; four daughters, Miss Leona Waugh; Mrs. N.E. Winton; Mrs. Louise Sheehan, Decatur; Mrs. G.W. Puckett, Hartselle; four sons, A.G. Waugh, LaMesa, Texas; R.L. McCaulie, Jacksonville, Fla; Oscar Waugh, Somerville; Herman Waugh, Decatur; a sister, Mrs. Cora Andrews, Atlanta; four brothers, J.M. Waugh, Grenada, Miss; Charles Waugh, Moulton; Calvert and B.E. Waugh, of Somerville; 20 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Grandsons were pallbearers and granddaughters were flower girls.

Mr. Waugh was a long time resident of Decatur and was widely known.
