WILLIAM G PERSOHN, 87, a lifetime resident of Brillion until 1957 when he moved to New Holstein to life with a granddaughter, Mrs. Leonard Schmidt, died at Calumet County Hospital.
He was born in Brillion on Oct. 22, 1871, the son of Carl and Augusta Degner Persohn. He was married in Brillion on April 8, 1896 to Martha Kasch. He farmed in the Brillion area until his retirement in 1928 when he moved to Brillion.
Survivors include one brother, Robert Persohn of Brillion, three sisters, Mrs. Emma Freitag of Vancouver, Wash., Mrs. Ida Reichardt of Brillion and Mrs. Orrin Leverenz of New Holstein; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife (1940) and his only daughter, Clara (1956) and three sisters.
