My grandmother Bush spent her youth on a farm. She married Samuel Higbee Bush February 12, 1903 and they had four sons: Walter Glenn, Charles Henry, Roy Malone and Howard Wilson. They were married for 29 years when Grandpa Bush passed away at age 55. She spent her remaining years as a widow. The boys shared in her watch-care and protection so she was a frequent visitor in our house. I grew to love her very much because she had the time to pay attention to me I suppose. She would play dominoes, rook, cudy, and karems with me all the time. I've always been fascinated by the stories she would tell that she said she heard from her mother and father who were William Walter Kidwell and Rebecca Ann Taylor of Shelby Co., Mo. She was a good grandmother.
