She was born June 29, 1898, received her education in rural schools, graduated from Teacher College at Reedsburg in 1914, and taught school for six years until she married Ervin Carl Luck at Zeland, December 16,1920. Olive moved to Mineral Point in 1974, then later moved to Lancaster, where she lived until her death.
Her funeral will be held at the Buchanan Funeral Home in Pittsville at 12 noon on December 19, with the burial following in the Mound Cemetery.She is survied by one daughter, Mrs. Melvin (Kathryn) Flugstad, Fennimore; four grandchildren, Mrs. Robert (Karen) Klatt, Thorsby, Alberta, Canada; Mrs. Edward (Sherry) Klein, Mt. Hope; Michael Flugstad, Lancaster, and Mrs. Robert Kennedy, Prairie View, Ill; 12 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Lancaster Seventh-day Adventist Church and the church Doreas Society in Lancaster, as well as the American Legion Auxiliary and Senior Citizens Club in Pittsville. In addition to her husband, two brothers, a sister and a son who died in infancy, preceded her in death.
